Ingredients:

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, salt, pepper, and parsley.
  3. Form mixture into small meatballs and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through and browned.
  5. In a large skillet, heat tomato sauce and water over medium heat. Add meatballs and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Serve over couscous or with a side of roasted vegetables.
